Al Castello operates as a bar during the day and a restaurant during mealtimes. Located against the castle walls, the views of Vernazza's cove are spectacular, worth the climb to the top of the hill. Book ahead to ensure a table on the terrace.
Gambero Rosso (Cinque Terre)
Most dishes at the Gambero Rosso feature some sort of succulent seafood, such as the acchiughe, or fresh anchovies, and ravioli di pesci, a fish ravioli. The terrace looks onto a busy square, and the inside, with its stone walls and wood-beamed ceiling, is a pleasant respite from the sun.
